The exhibition "Multinational matryoshka" is opened in theater "Baltic House" 17 dolls are temporarily settled in the foyer of the theater "Baltic House" in St. Petersburg. The authors of these works - the Russians, living in Australia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Guatemala, Belarus, Hungary, Germany, Spain, China, Latvia, Mongolia, Norway, the USA, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Finland, Sweden and Estonia. "Multinational matryoshka" - a project created by the VII St. Petersburg Forum of youth organizations of Russian compatriots and foreign mass media with Russian-language. The purpose of the project - to show, that the matryoshka, as a national symbol of Russia, unites all Russian compatriots living abroad. Each toy is made in the traditional style with elements of state symbols of countries and regions, which are home to the authors.
