Is visa required?

Not. According to the Law of Russian Immigration, passengers who come with a cruise ship and stay in St.-Petersburg up to 72 hours have the right to disembark the ship without regular Russian tourist visas. But You need a TOUR TICKET, which our company provides You in advance.

How to pay?

We require deposit 10%. When we hold promotions and special offers, tours are booked without prepayment.

Full payment is due before the start of the tour.
Payment made in cash (please note, we can accept bills (USD, GBP, EUR, RUB) only in good condition. No defects, writings, damages according to our banks’ rules).
Or payment made to the J-Travel account. In case of payment from an account in foreign currency, payment made in rubles at the exchange rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.

How to book? 

Dear Guest, our company is glad You wish to book our tours! The tour confirmation should be completed after You send us the following information:

  • Ship’s name
  • Days in St.-Petersburg
  • Your full name like in your passport
  • Date of birth
  • Passport number
  • Citizenship

We will send You Tour Tickets through e-mail (it will be your blanket visa in St.-Petersburg), then You should print it out at home and bring to Russia. Also we will send You tour program and disembarkation instruction.

In case You did not get our message within a day, please resend Your e-mail.

Discounts?

Children under 6 years old are free of charge. Children up to 17 years old and students with the ISIC (International student identity card) get a discount $10.

The cruise line tells, if passengers don’t book the shore excursions with them, they can’t get off the ship. Is it so?

It is not true. You are able to get off the ship in St.-Petersburg to get our tours. To do it You need: Your valid passport plus photo copy, the Tour Ticket, which we will send You in advance. The pass through immigration and custom takes about 30 minutes.

Restaurants for lunch?

The lunch is included in the flat-rate group tours. The lunch is not included in the private tours to give You flexibility. It is provided at additional request. Usually we suggest to have lunch at small restaurants and cafes, where the locals come (in menu You will find russian soups, pies, traditional pancakes). As well other nice restaurants with business lunch up to $15pp. The meal at big restaurants with good food and quality costs beginning from $20 US.

Gratuities?

Gratuity is not included in the tour price. After a job well-done, You should leave to Your guide and driver the gratuity, which is about 15 % of the total cost of the tour (separately - 2/3 to the guide and 1/3 to the driver).

Evening program?

You can also book the evening programs with our company, that are separate arrangements. We offer: private boat trip, the Russian Ballet, Russian Folk Show or other your wish.

Payment for the evening programs is accepted before the start of the program.

How to cancel a booking?

No cancellation fees, but our company asks You to inform us about any changes or booking cancellations in written form as soon as it is possible.

Please note, that the tickets for evening events (Russian Folkloric, Ballet, other theatre performances) are not refunded.

Monday: Hermitage Museum
Tuesday: Catherine Palace of Tzsars’ Village (plus last Monday of a month), Russian Museum, Peterhof Grand Palace (only day-off - last Tuesday of a month) 
Wednesday: Church on Spilled Blood, St.Isaac's Cathedral
Prepayment for the tour
