July 4th on Nevsky Prospekt "Crime and Punishment" will be read, and four-meter Dostoevsky will walk on the streets.
In the Year of Literature the Day of Dostoevsky will be marked by celebrations, performances and other entertainment.
A special surprise for the feast prepared by the artists of the theater "Puppet format": they created four-meter puppets of Dostoevsky, Gogol and Pushkin. July 4 "giant classics" will visit their monuments and entertain St. Petersburg.
The main part of the program will take place at the Manezhnaya Square. During the day it will turn into open-air cinema, where people will watch serial film "Crime and Punishment."
Lectures, devoted to Dostoevsky, will be held in the Book yard of Library.
