Metro in St. Petersburg works around the clock only for major holidays.
In the night from 20 to 21 June, when in St. Petersburg school graduates celebrated the feast of "Scarlet Sails", Metro was opened for passengers around the clock. During this period nearly 132 000 people used the subway.
In this night, most passengers used the station "Gostiny Dvor" – 21 455 people. It is also very popular among Petersburgers and guests of the northern capital during the festive to use station "Admiralteiskaya" (more than 19 500 people), "Nevsky prospect-1" (about 17 000 passengers) and "Gor’kovskaya" (more than 15 000 people).
