Scarlet Sails 2015.21.06.2015
The holiday program was started at 10.00 pm on the Palace Square. More than 75 thousand school graduates attended the concert, as well as special guests from the Crimea, Karelia, Komi, Vladimir, Kursk and Pskov regions, the Perm region, Tallinn, Bishkek, Yerevan and Daugavpils.
To get to the holiday was not so simple: The entrance was only by invitations, which were handed out to schoolchildren a few days before Scarlet sails.
At 12:40 am holiday was continued by light and fireworks show on the Neva River, accompanied by Symphonic Orchestra that played music by Tchaikovsky, Stravinsky, Mussorgsky. As part of pyrotechnic show ship under the scarlet sails came into the Neva. The show lasted for a half an hour - until 1:10am.
1:10 am - 04:00 am the concert was held at the Spit of Vasilyevsky Island with choir and Symphonic Orchestra. The entrance was free for all comers.
