The restoration of facades, roofs was conducted from October 2014 to May 2015. Water heating was installed in the new basement.
The museum tells about a little-known chapter in the history of Peterhof - the sea summer residence of the Russian emperors. It had its harbor for the imperial yachts that belonged to the Russian Navy.
Reconstruction of the emperor’s study on a yacht has been created in the museum. It contains unique furniture set in Russian-Byzantine style, which is a rarity, table in the "Russian style", navigation devices.
The exhibition was replenished by things from funds of the State Museum "Peterhof": Tsarevich Alexei’s portable inkwell, boatswain's whistle from yacht "Standart". One of the glass cases will tell about entertainment and rest of the royal family on yacht.
