New oceanarium in St. Petersburg.05.06.2015
Company "Optima" is implementing the project of oceanarium building. Area of 3.6 hectares near the Park of Internationalists was allocated to investors. Now the company is developing the project plan of the land.
The planned date for putting it into operation - the end of 2017. Mixed-use complex will include exposure of the underwater world, pool with crocodiles, manatees, turtles, as well as a dry terrarium. The complex includes two theaters, in which performances of marine animals will be held, theater with the lecture hall, a maritime museum and interactive learning areas for children.
The complex includes six pools for swimming with dolphins. Large-scale basis for the development of the dolphins will be set up for the first time in the city, which scientists refer to the number one of the most effective methods of regenerative medicine and rehabilitation.
The investor has successful experience of building of such facilities. A similar oceanarium will be opened next month in Moscow.
