Feast of St. Petersburg graduates "Scarlet Sails".28.05.2015
This decision was taken due to the cancellation of the transition to "summer time". Dark time is necessary for the effective pyrotechnic shows.
In 2015 the main holiday of St. Petersburg school graduates "Scarlet Sails" will be started not at 11:00 pm, but 10:00 pm.
The feast will be launched by concert on Palace Square.
Start of the light-pyrotechnic show on the Neva River is scheduled at 12:40 am. For the first time in history of the festival audience will see not just fireworks accompanied by a symphony orchestra but real spectacle, which will be on the majestic building of the Exchange.
With the music by Mussorgsky, Tchaikovsky, Stravinsky, Shostakovich, Artemyev pages of Russian history will come. The appearance of the brigantine under the scarlet sails traditionally will be the culmination of the show. The Swedish sailboat «Tre Kronor» will perform this role for the sixth time.
