Kids under 6 years old are free of charge (Note! Lunches for them are not included on the group tours. There is children's menu in local restaurants to order and pay on the spot). For kids from 7 to 17 years old and students ISIC is $10 USA pp.
Tour description (the total duration 8,5 hours)
St. Petersburg is known for its brilliant suburban imperial palaces. Emperors and empresses enjoyed spending summer time there. Magnificent balls, masquerades, gala dinners were held in the summer residences. This tour is made for those who are curious to see how luxuriously the royal family lived in the summer palaces.
In addition, you can book some evening program. We offer "Boat trip. "Classical Russian ballet", "Folk show" or it can be your wish, just let us know:
You go to Pushkin Town. Officially, it is one of the districts of St. Petersburg. The town got its name in honor of the great Russian poet Alexander Pushkin.
In Pushkin Town:
A visit to the summer residence of the Russian tsars - Catherine Palace in the Russian baroque style, which is quite impressive with its size. It was completed during the reign of Empress Elizabeth (daughter of Peter I) in 1756 and named after her mother – Catherine I. The Palace is famous for the Amber Room. The Prussian king Friedrich I presented 22 amber panels to Peter I in 1716.
After Catherine Palace walk through the French regular Catherine Park.
From Pushkin Town you go to Peterhof - Capital of fountains. The town also belongs to one of the districts of St. Petersburg. Distance between these two towns - 37 km.
After lunch a visit to the Peterhof Fountain Park and walk through the gardens and fountains, which are called “Russian Versailles”. Beautiful fountains were created on the order of Peter the Great in imitation of the French fountains of Versailles. More than 150 fountains and cascades are located in the Peterhof Park.
Finally you drive back to St. Petersburg.
