Farewell to winter - Shrovetide lasted in St. Petersburg for a week.
February 26 residents and guests of the city celebrated the last day of the Shrovetide.
On this day, cheerful festivities were organized in different parks of the city. It was an opportunity to eat Russian pancakes, to dance, to sing songs. At the end of the holiday stuffed "Shrovetide" was burned by the old tradition of ancient people. This is favorite sight of all the children.
