Christmas trees of St. Petersburg can be given for the benefit of homeless animals.19.01.2017

The trees will be recycled as the flinders and sent to animal shelters. On Sunday, 22 January from 12.00 pm to 2.00 pm, the traditional action will be held in St. Petersburg. During the campaign, Christmas trees will be accepted from people. Previously the trees were collected for bison, which are in one of bison nurseries in the Leningrad region. But this year the participants of the environmental movement "No More Trash" will collect the trees and send the flinders to animal shelters. Volunteers organize the reception points where anyone can bring his Christmas tree or pine. Collected conifers will be crushed, the resulting flinders will be sent for the bedding and feeding the animals. The action will take place for the third time. Last year, the townspeople gathered several thousand pine trees. Tours of St. Petersburg - Russia with j-travel-spb.
