February 27, 2016, residents and guests of Tsarskoye Selo in St. Petersburg saw the grand celebration "Winter evening of light." Since 2016 Frederiksborg Palace in Denmark joined the action. In Tsarskoye Selo "Winter Evening Light" began at the main entrance to the park near the Lyceum arch. Guides greeted guests of the festival and led to the place of performance. This year, the facade of the Catherine Palace was painted with light. On the surface of the special boxes, that hide the sculptures of the park for winter time, the figures of gallant gentlemen and elegant ladies came to life. On the Mirror Ponds in the Catherine Park organizers of the show "sail" the ship of the XVIII century. Viewers could see the dark outlines of dancing couples on windows of pavilion "Hermitage".
