The black monkey was born at the zoo on October 8. Six weeks later experts found the sex of the animal - a girl. For two weeks, visitors to the zoo offered various options for the names of the youngest representative of the Primate Department. In the pavilion, where the family of black macaques lives, a box for name has been set. For two weeks a few hundred applications with names came. Zoo staff chose the name Mira (it means Peace). 2016 year will be under the sign of the Monkey. And the staff wants to see it under the banner of the Peace.
